Hector Serrato, a Nationally Accredited School Psychologist (NCSP), is the Founder of Arizona Autism Diagnostic Center, bringing over a decade of dedicated experience in direct work with children affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other low-incidence conditions. His diverse professional background has cultivated a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and individuality within the autism spectrum.
Before establishing Arizona Autism Diagnostic Center, Hector served as a Programs Director for an autism center, refining his skills in program development and management. His role as a school psychologist at Arizona Autism Charter Schools further deepened his expertise in evaluating and supporting children with autism. This hands-on engagement not only involved assessments but also provided a nuanced understanding of the various difficulties children face.
Hector holds a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Northern Arizona University, complementing his genuine passion for the well-being of children and families. This rich educational background fuels his commitment to delivering timely and comprehensive evaluations at Arizona Autism Diagnostic Center.
Dr. Zinkiewicz (Dr. Z) is a licensed psychologist in Arizona as well as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) who specializes in the investigation of each child/adolescent’s intellectual, academic, and social/emotional strengths and needs. Dr. Z prides himself on completing comprehensive evaluations that best explain not only ‘how’ a client is functioning, but ‘why’ some tasks are more difficult than others. Dr. Z brings nearly 10 years of experience working –preschool and school-age children/adolescents dealing with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia), Intellectual Disabilities, and Emotional Disabilities among other brain-based and behavioral health disorders. Through extensive training in various cognitive theories, the goal of each evaluation is to integrate these theories, relay them in a relatable way, and provide individualized recommendations to help within the school and home settings. Dr. Z prioritizes providing tools to assist in building a successful and joyful future for each individual he works with.
