Gold-standard early childhood evaluations are available for children as young as 18 months.

A Thorough Interview

Focused on learning about each child's history and day-to-day functioning.

Autism Evaluation

A structure observation to administer the evaluation.

• Includes cognitive, language, motor, adaptive, and social/emotional testing, as well as administration of the  ADOS-2.
• Eveluation typically takes 3 hours and occurs at the 2nd appointment.

Feedback regarding results occurs at a separate, 3rd appointment

A meeting between the psychologist and parents/caregivers to discuss the assessment findings, review results, and explore potential recommendations. Caregivers will be provided with a detailed diagnostic report for comprehensive insights.

Consultation

The initial 15-minute consultation is complimentary. This allows us to determine if an evaluation is appropriate for your needs, ensuring you receive the right support.

Evaluation

For the thorough interview, there is a one-time fee that contributes to the overall cost of the evaluation, which is a flat rate. The initial charge for the interview will be billed at the beginning of the interview. The remaining balance will be charged at the start of the feedback session, ensuring a seamless process from evaluation results.

Billing

Fees are charged at the beginning of the appointment.

Payment Options

A credit card is required to secure your appointment. This will only be used to cover any late cancellations or no-show fees, as outlined in the patient paperwork you will receive upon booking.

Insurance

Arizona Autism Diagnostic Center do not accept insurance at this time. However, upon completion of your/your child's services, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. The amount reimbursed depends on your insurance plan. We recommend contacting your insurance carrier before your appointment(s) to understand their reimbursement policies.
